Brian and Heidi McClemens opened The Berryville Grille on December 3, 2009 with Berryville Mayor Wilson Kirby and Pastor Larry of Church of New Beginnings in attendance for the ribbon cutting ceremony. The restaurant is very family oriented, and they love kids! They even have a wall to display the drawings that their young customers create. The Berryville Grille seats 50 guests, and has space for private gatherings, parties, or large famlies. Brian and Heidi moved to Berryville 16 years ago and have felt like opening this restaurant was an opportunity to minister to the nutritional as well as spiritual needs of the the community with a warm personal touch. Opening a new business in this unstable economy was a leap of faith for the McClements which they pursued with all their heart, mind, soul and strength. Their act of faith has been blessed tremendously with customers who are anxious to experience the delectible food and the wonderful atmosphere. They bring the skills of high end fine dining to the dinner table of America with traditional comfort foods like ribs, hamburgers, and chicken, mixing in some more exotic flavors from around the world including Thai, Mexican, Greek, and Asian. One of the community’s favorite dishes is Heidi’s Meatloaf which contains 16 ingredients.

The atmosphere is a blend of historic appreciation and contemporary America. While renovating the building to meet restaurant code, they preserved some of the decor dating back to the former Old Battletown Hotel, such as wooden window and door frames and lanterns along the walls. The Berryville Grille proudly supports local farmers and other business owners to help promote local commerce, and the freshest possible ingredients for their recipes.

Berryville Grille Ribbon Cutting The Berryville Grille is more than a restaurant, it is an expression of love and faith bringing hope and good food to the community.
